"Annoited Class meetings", do they exist ??? Why not ???
by run dont walk inyou know, think about the last 30 years, annoited class of anywhere from 8,000 - 10,000, is there ever a meeting when they all get together, and discuss what jehovah has told them.
if these are the last days, why wouldn't they all be together at least once a year, can they even communicate with each other if they are form different countries.
i have heard of governing body meetings, special meetings, special arrangement elders meetings, assembly days for a select few etc.. but has there ever been a meeting for all the so called annoited to get together in one place, ever ????

by ozziepost inthe december issue of "kingdom ministry" for australia carries this announcement:.
"as a reminder to the brothers handling the congregation accounts, donations placed in the boxes for the worldwide work are to be remitted monthly and should not be used for payment on a kingdom hall property loan or for any other congregation expense.".

Do Jw men treat wives as Christ treats the church?
by ellderwho in.
what has irked me lately is the way my mothers husband (elder bob) treats mom.
in typical jw fashion subserviant, always careful in speaking out of turn esspecially our weekly study( "bible study") er book study.. i have to find a way to work in the reference of treating wives the way christ treats the church and let elder bob stew on that, but being careful not to plant seeds of resentment, with mom.

If the witness's were really Christian, people would see it easly there would be no second guess's there would not be a break of of familys. To break up a family is counter productive from a human point of veiw and it should be from a Godly point of veiw. If God really aproves brakeing familys up as the witness's do so well, then he is not worthy of worship.

Just curious, what have some of you done with your exspensive book bags?
by Singing Man ini use my book bag to store my computer soft ware in its perfect for that.
and as for all the old issues of magazines i used them to start my wood stove on those cold mornings.
one time i asked for a lot of older issues from the friends so i could use them to line the bottom of my camp tent, they were more than happy to give them to me.

Speaking about this, my older brother at a young age used to push his face against the pages of a old green bible, he swore it got rid of his pimples by sopping up that extra skin oil.

Does the sensationalism on this site help anyone?
by logansrun inthread topics like "how to mess up the society"...."what dirty tricks would you pull on the watchtower" and "the society is about to go down the tubes!
" don't impress me.
honesty and forthrightness.

It does not bother me in the lest, I can not count how manytimes I have read in the WT where they have slamed the catholics or other religions. Other than providing bible studies with people the witness don't do much good. I can go to most any main line religion and get at lest a free meal, I can't say that about the witness's.
